2011 Mercedes-Benz G-Class offers two different levels of power with the 5.0L V8 engine of the G500, G55 and the AMG hot-rod style with a 5.5L V8 engine. The MSRP for the G500 is $ 104,000 and $ 122,700 for the G55 AMG. Both G-Class vehicles average 11 mpg for city driving and 15 mpg for highway driving.
Performance

Mercedes-Benz G-Class is designed to integrate perfectly with a luxury SUV utility, which is really through the test drives. The G500 has managed to get 0-60 mph in just 6.7 seconds and can completely stop this speed in only 127 feet. The pedals are long for maximum control over the rocky, off-road areas. The G500 is very stable even on winding mountain roads but because of its size, sometimes felt a bit heavy. The steering is slow, which means you might be taking a few laps until a ski resort a little more cautious. This SUV is able to go almost anywhere, rugged terrain of the city blocks of the concrete jungle.

2011 Mercedes-Benz G-Class offers two different engine options: G500, containing a standard 5.0L V8 engine produces 382 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm, with a seven-speed automatic transmission and the G55 AMG with a supercharged 5.5L V8 engine that produces 493 horsepower and 387 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,000 rpm and is mated to a five-speed automatic. The G-Class is capable of towing up to 7,000 books, four wheel drive permanent, and has three different electromechanical locking differentials to help manage all kinds of road conditions.
Interior

2011 G-Class offers leather upholstery with either walnut or maple trim, rear privacy glass windows, heated front seats ten courses with three position memory seats, heated rear passenger, dual zone climate control for driver and passenger, rear passenger reading lamps, a six-disc CD changer to provide music for the standard nine-speaker, and “mbrace” telematics system with features such as unlocking the vehicle using iPhone or BlackBerry, and its location in the parking lot.
Safety Equipment

numerous safety features come standard with the 2011 Mercedes-Benz G-Class, including antilock brakes with brake assist system and distributor of electronic braking, side curtain airbags, electronic stability, and an emergency system that removes the tension slack on seat belts in a collision.
Exterior

The emergence of the G-Class is largely the same as in previous years, and includes the characteristics of steel body panels and flat design of flat glass and stainless steel spare tire, giving these vehicles utility air, but the tinted rear privacy glass does add a degree of luxury, as the new twin 18-inch five-spoke wheels.

Since the G-Class SUVs are designed to withstand a variety of conditions over time and remain at a high level of performance, they tend to retain their resale value well because of the high quality construction. Mercedes-Benz is also known to maintain high quality, but because of the rugged nature of the G-Class, it will probably not be a problem.
