2011 New Honda Odyssey Minivan
Honda has officially taken the wraps off its 2011 Odyssey minivan. Like the Odyssey concept shown at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show, the new minivan features a more aggressive stance, complete with Honda’s new “lightning-bolt” beltline.

The new Odyssey is 1.6 inches lower and 1.4 inches wider than the current van, giving it decidedly sporty look. The sleek and aggressive shape shares more in common styling-wise with Toyota’s new Sienna SE van than either Chrysler’s Town & Country or Dodge’s Caravan. The new front fascia gives the Odyssey Honda’s familial face also seen on the Insight hybrid and the Accord Crosstour.

Inside the new Odyssey sports a number of standard and optional features, including a 12-speaker audio system, satellite navigation, external HDMI input, rear-seat entertainment with split-screen capability, a ‘cool box’ in the lower center stack, a stowable 3rd row and a removable first row center console.

The new Odyssey will be powered by a 3.5L V6, although Honda has yet to release any performance figures. However, Honda did reveal that the new Odyssey will achieve fuel economy ratings of 19/28mpg city/highway
