The Mercedes has even announced a series production, however limited, of the SLS AMG E-Cell. This is the electric version of the prestigious German coupe, also famous for becoming the "safety car" during the Grand Prix of Formula 1.
The idea of an electric SLS is almost paradoxical, but has been ridden by Mercedes to show the possibilities of electric propulsion applied to models of a purely sporting setting. As for power and performance, the SLS AMG E-Cell is the situation, given that the power of 392 kW or 533 hp, is not very far from that of the petrol version, powered by a V8 6.3 liter, 571 hp.
