Ford Australia has released the first official image of the new-look 2011 Ford Territory, confirmed that the upcoming V6 turbo-diesel version of the Territory is on track for a 2011 launch.

Speaking with TMR today, Ford Australia's Sinead McAlary said that the new variant should broaden the Territory's appeal for customers who have so far looked elsewhere for a diesel option.
Ford Australia is yet to reveal an on-sale date for the 2011 Territory. It may choose to officially unveil new SUV at the 2011 Australian International Motor Show in Melbourne on July 1.
