The worldcarfans spy photographers have managed to snap the first pictures in the 2013 MINI Cooper. Caught undergoing testing in Europe, the seriously camouflaged prototype seems slightly lengthier and wider compared to existing product. On top of that, the vehicle adopts a more compact grille, a more time hood and slimmer A-pillars.
Though the exterior is immediately recognizable, large changes will come about inside the cabin. The photographs show the next-generation Cooper will ditch the center-mounted speedometer to get a a lot more classic instrument cluster. Engine selections remain somewhat of the mystery, but we can easily expect a variety of fuel-efficient powertrains. Nothing at all is official, but we would not be amazed if entry-level versions are equipped while using the new three-cylinder TwinPower engines.
