Intent on expanding the presence of its highly-marketable hamster-themed Kia Soul ad campaign, Kia unveiled a special model at the SEMA aftermarket show in Las Vegas.
Set to become a limited edition model – likely with a few small changes – the Soul Hamstar Edition features badging upgrades inside and out. The biggest changes come to the exterior, where body-color front and rear fascias stand out from lesser Souls. Customized black matte-finish Hamstar graphics are designed to conjure up images of varsity jackets, while black gloss wheels are there simply to complete the look.
Inside, the Hamstar gets logo floormats, badging and the red and black sports seats normally only found on top-trim Souls. Look for Kia to announce production plans for a Soul Hamstar Edition and a related clothing line in the near future.
