Hyundai has launched the new i30 hatchback in Australia, a model that’s now at it’s second generation there, after the last one arrived in 2007. The engine range in the Land Down Under is limited to just the 1.8-liter petrol and 1.6-liter diesel in manual and automatic configurations, both with six gears.

The base car comes with Flex Steer system with selectable steering modes (Comfort, Normal and Sport), 16-inch steel wheels, fog lights and Bluetooth. The Elite gets automatic lights, push button start, a seven-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation and keyless entry. The range-topping Premium comes with 17-inch alloys, xenon headlights, panoramic sunroof, electronic park brake, full leather interior.
